As per RPSC (Rajasthan Public Service Commission) suggested RAS syllabus for mains examination , they have divided history into three parts for study purpose.

Rajasthan history will cover all the important incident happened in rajasthan or related to rajasthan state , this portion of history will cover all the dynasty who ruled on rajasthan principality like rather , Kachwaha etc.
Indian history will cover all the very important incident which drive the india’s situation like mugals and all , we will study other state dynasty and kings who was ruling states or places like gujrat , south india kings and important wars among them .
In modern history we start with purtgali , dutch , English (british) etc. we will study how they entered into india and why they come to india , what happened in india after their entry in the country , about their companies , wars with each other and king ruling in different states , important incidents after foreign companies entered into india country.
